The Department noticed the odor when driving past the site. The Contractors on site said they were venting gas and monitoring flow back water. They said they would shut the well in around 4 hours from the time of the inspection. The site was in good condition. The E/S controls were in order. The drilling pit was approximately 3/4 full with cuttings and flow back/drilling water.
