Installation of surface pipe was complicated by trap door type situation. Upon completion of cementing the upper portion of the surface casing was attempted to be cemented. One bag of hulls was poured into the annulus from the surface, four bags of bentonite gel were poured into annulus from surface, cement was pumped from the surface into the annulus. Total depth of surface casing was 688 feet.
