2197510 Primary Facility 2013-08-21 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 8/21/2013, I performed an inspection of Energy Corporation of America's BartholomewB Unit 1MHS and 3HMS well site with Bill Keefer. The site is located in Cumberland Twp., Greene County. The inspection was performed due to a request by the Operator for a Pre-operational inspection.
2206234 Primary Facility 2013-09-18 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted R&R RIG 5 DRILLING FOR ECA. HAD JUST TDed 8 1/2 HOLE IN VERTICAL SECTION AT 6499'. WELL COMPLIANT AT TIME OF INSPECTION.
2234641 Primary Facility 2013-12-20 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted WELL DRILLED TO COMPLETION. CREWS ON SIGHT SETTING UP FOR STIMULATION PROCESS.
2444544 Primary Facility 2016-01-07 Administrative/File Review No Violations Noted

On 01/07/16 at approximately 0830 hours I conducted an administrative inspection in response to a request for restoration extension submitted by ECA.

Drilling activities for the last well (#2) were completed on 12/10/13 according to Department records. The 9 month date for restoration was 09/10/2014. The request for restoration extension was received on 10/09/2015. A violation of Section 3216(c) of Chapter 32 of Act 13 has occurred for failure to restore the site within 9 months of completion of drilling a well.

The extension request is being denied.

2688257 Primary Facility 2018-01-04 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted The Act 9 sign was in place. The site was snow covered and vegetative cover could not be inspected. Multiple brine tank valves appeared to be leaking. It is recommended the brine tanks be inspected to insure a release is not occurring.
