Pipeline work was ongoing adjacent to site. The impoundment liners were removed, but impoundments were still in place. Chevron plans to reline them and use them to hold recycled frac fluids. If this is done, proper permits will need to be obtained to create a centralized impoundment. What appeared to be ground water in one of the impoundments may hinder this permitting. No violations noted at this time. |
