0649895394 2015-03-19 Orphan No Violations This idle well is located on commercial property owned by Denny Crock. He said he would like the well plugged and that it has been there since the 1950s and last produced, he thought, in the early 1980s. He knew the history of the well and said the dirt that surrounded it at one time (the wellhead is approximately 27 above ground level) was removed and added to level the parking lot for the grocery store on the same property. The well has 6 5/8 surface casing with a collar 7 above ground level and an additional joint added on above making the wellhead about 27 above ground. There is a 4 x 2 swage on the top with 1 fittings and valves and a 1 steel line running away from the well to the east (not connected to the well). Records show the well drilled in 1963 by Heppner to the Berea sand at 1387. Pictures taken, SEM is 132. The well is not leaking.
1328557555 2012-02-06 Orphan No Violations Inspection of the well found casing and conductor pipe all elevated one joint or 30 above ground level caused by the hillside being dug out for a parking lot. A reducing swage and valve is present on the casing and the 1 flow line is visibly broke off at the valve. Inspector will note there is no way to tell if valve is closed because of height of wellhead from ground level and contact needs to be made with property owner to determine the ownership of the well and if the well can be put into the idle orphan program. No other production related equipment is present.
