0588384865 2018-08-20 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations The wellhead was located in a locked, fenced enclosure in Galt Park off of Oneida Ave. The I. D. signage listed the well as the Galt # 1 and lacked an A P I well number. The well was constructed to operate as a plunger lift well. All the control valves were closed. The wellhead was disconnected from the flow line prior to a recent swabbing ( per John Webb, Park Supervisor, 330.971.8474 ). I informed Mr. Webb that the I. D. signage was incorrect and would need to be compliant with OAC 1501:9-9-05 ( E ) regarding Urbanized Area signage. I supplied Mr. Webb with a copy of the Urbanized Area Drilling requirements. The recent swabbing was in preparation for winter time gas usage in buildings on the golf course. A contractor for the City of Cuyahoga Falls will be re-connecting the well to flow line in the near future ( per Mr. Webb ) . I found a slight periodic leak at the junction of the 1.5 tubing and the tubing head. I suggested that Mr. Webb have the contractor correct the leak on the tubing head when working on the flow line. The tank battery was shared with the City of Cuyahoga Falls # 1 well ( 34-153-2-0704 ). The tank battery was fenced and surrounded with an earthen dike. One (1) 100 barrel stock tank and horizontal separator comprised the tank battery. Dominion / East Ohio Gas had recently set a rotary gas meter for gas sales. There is confusion as to why the Owner was listed as Historic Owner (9998). I will re-inspect the well to assure that further enforcement activity is not warranted.
