Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0472102403 2007-06-14 Production Wells No Violations The Uniontown office received a request from Atty. Bill Williams to inspect this site for his client, the property owner. The owner plans to develop the property and was concerned about the flowline depth and location. My inspection found that the flowline is buried from the wellhead to the intersection with the Buckeye and North Coast transmission pipelines. The depth of burial was approximately 12 to 18 inches, where it could be determined. The flowline is exposed at the surface from the transmission pipelines to the Moore tank battery. OAC 1501:9-10-05 allows for burial exemptions in certain cases. In this case, 1) it is not reasonably expected that the property would be cultivated and 2) the potential negative environmental impact from encountering the high pressure/high volume transmission pipelines is greater than the potential environmental impact from the 2 inch flowline. According to Bob Moore, the two parties have been in negotiations to relocate the flowline in order to minimize the contact with the proposed site development.
