0677303224 | 2008-07-02 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | The site has been finish graded, hydroseeded and mulched. Preliminary restoration will be approved as soon as the landscaping is completed and the grass seed establishes. |
1067070014 | 2008-02-26 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Bruderly Excavating and Chem Tech were on site to solidify the drilling pits. |
1132006914 | 2008-02-15 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Wildcat is drilling to the kick off point and should be there later this morning. No violations at this time. |
1203022584 | 2008-02-14 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Cemented surface casing. Pits and liners are intact. |
1203537448 | 2008-02-13 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Wildcat Drilling is moving on location and should spud the well later tonight. The pits are being dug in the Sharon sandstone using a jack hammer trackhoe and a bucket trackhoe. After digging is complete, the pits will be lined with road mat and then re-enforced plastic liner. |

1343090206 | 2008-06-12 | Production Wells | No Violations | I met on site with Jeff Proknow with Hudson to investigate a complaint from the nearby homeowners association that the drilling site caused sedimentation in a stormwater retention pond. The pond is located approximately 800 west of the drill site. There was no evidence that stormwater runoff left the location, bypassed silt fence and straw bales and traveled this distance to deposit silt in this pond. There was no evidence of any sediment of any but minimum quantity leaving the drilling location at all. During this inspection, it appears that a redimix truck washed out over a storm drain located less than 100 from this pond. Regardless of this assessment, I called Ohio Valley and requested that the site be seeded and mulched as soon as possible. Both Jeff with Hudson and Cindy with Summit Soil & Water agreed that Ohio Valley bore only very minimal if any responsibility for sedimentation in this retention pond. |
1505690132 | 2018-08-22 | UrbanProduction Wells | No Violations | The wellhead was configured to operate as a plunger lift well and was surrounded with a board on board locked fence. I. D. signage was posted at the wellhead. There was a domestic gas connection at the wellhead. I did not find any leaks or contamination at the wellhead during this inspection. The tank battery was surrounded with a board on board locked fence and an earthen dike. I. D. signage was posted. The tank battery consisted of one (1) 140 barrel stock, one (1) 35 barrel poly brine tank and one (1) 2408 horizontal separator with orifice gas meter. The stock tank had a carbon filter, lightning arrestor and pressure relief hatch. The load lines were plugged but had the locks hanging on the handles , not latched. I spoke with Rick Liddle ( OVE, 330.770.2216 ) and requested that the locks be properly utilized. No leaks or contamination were found during this inspection. I will re-inspect to ensure compliance with the locks. |
1630862337 | 2008-02-19 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Drilling was completed at 09:00 and Wildcat will start laying down drill pipe. The rig reportedly encountered a fairly large show of water in the lower Newburg. The blow pit has run over but was draining directly into the shale pit. The mud pump was being used to load the hole and pump down the excess water. |
1769980631 | 2008-03-14 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | The well has been fraced, the pits have been solidified and the site is ready to be rough graded. Work has not started on building the tank battery. No violations at this time. |
1886537775 | 2008-02-21 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Wildcat Drilling is moving off. The pits are lined and in good condition. Fencing still needs to be placed around the pits. According to OVE, the pits will be emptied starting tomorrow and are scheduled to be solidified on 2/25. |
2060460573 | 2008-06-17 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | The affected area has been graded and hydroseeded. Preliminary restoration will be approved as soon as the seed germinates. |
