There was no observed accelerated erosion or sedimentation in relation to the site or access road. Met onsite with Us Energy Personnel to review a small leak observed in the brine tank by OGI Braunns. There was a leak below the well tag on the tank where it appeared that the tank had rusted through and was allowing a slow weeping of fluids to be releases, flow along the tank and deposit immediately beside the tank. The affected area appeared to be localized and it did not appear that the release was more than 5 gallons but less than 42 gallons.
US Energy's intended course of action is to as soon as possible have the tank tank emptied and moved offiste. Once that action is completed the affected media wil be excavated, removed and properly disposed of in accordance with the O&G spill policy, specifically the section dedicated to small spills less than 42 gallons.
