Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2437738 Primary Facility 2016-01-04 Follow-up Inspection Violation(s) Noted Onsite follow-up to a 12/31/15 operator reported discharge from a production tank. Due to a crack in the production tank located onsite there was a localized discharge to the ground of production fluid underneath the tank. At the time of the inspection the well had been shut-in, brine tank removed and excavation work had begun to remove the affected media, ascertain the affected area and estimate a volume of production fluids that had been released. Operator representative Drew Underwood contacted WQS Higgins and stated that due to volume calculations and the size of the area excavated it is believed the release is over 42 gallons (1 barrel) and therefore XTO anticipates utilizing the Act 2 cleanup process.
2465246 Primary Facility 2016-03-11 Compliance Evaluation No Violations Noted Well appeared to be equipped for production. Excavation appeared to have been completed related to the site remedation from the brine spill onsite. Temporary erosion controls had been implemented until the site characterization report is approved. At that time the site will be regraded, seeded and mulched. The erosion controls were functioning properly and there was no observed accelerated erosion or sedimentation in relation to the site or access road. On 01/11/16 the operator submitted documentation outlining their intetion to enter the Act 2 process for the site remediation.
