Well appeared to be equipped for & in production at the time of the inspection. Brine tank located onsite and appeared to be in sound condition. Observed no accelerated erosion & sedimentation in relation to the well-site. Noted erosion ruts on the access road and that the culvert cross drain had been compromised with sediment depostis from runoff. Due to this the runoff collected in the roadside ditch is flowing to the site collection ditch above the well apparatus and flowing into a diversion ditch implemented below the site. The Department requests that the operator forward documentation no later than 10/30/09 stating how the access road erosion will be/has been addressed. |
