2789783 Primary Facility 2018-10-12 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted A routine inspection of this abandoned well was conducted October 12, 2018. The well operator has determined the 2" line found during the last inspection was a 2" vent stack monument which corroded at the base and fell due to swampy conditions at the site. The operator was able to locate well casing with a metal detector in the general proximity of the vent and has erected a new plugged well monument at this location. Cement to surface was observed at the base of the vent stack. At the time of inspection, there was standing water at the well location; no bubbling was observed. There were no open holes, discharges, or any other obvious major issues observed. The operator has provided documentation supporting the well being plugged on May 4, 1966.
