The Operator had reported a brine spill within the dike area from a hole in the brine tank.A clean up crew was on site to dig up the contaminated gravel/soil inside the dike. A hole could be seen on the side of tank #2 where the fluid leaked out. The Operator estimated between 5 - 10 barrels of brine leaked out inside containment. After further investigation the amount that leaked out was closer to 5 barrels. |
