2534663 Primary Facility 2016-10-12 Routine/Partial Inspection No Adverse Event or Action Reported Visited site w/ Rick Lewis, Eric Peterson & Bryce McKee to look at nearby stray gas issue. There is no obvious evidence that this plugged well is contributing to the stray gas nearby- no dead grass near the wellhead, no bubbling in adjacent stream. Vent on well is actively venting gas though, with readings varying from 5-40 % gas. The gas venting from the well has been analyzed and found to be coal bed methane gas.

O&G Program will handle the gas well and the Mining Program will contact both OSM and the Coal Operator to inform them on how to move forward. O&G and Mining Program will work together to resolve this situation moving forward.
