2646133 | Primary Facility | 2017-02-16 | Complaint Inspection | No Violations Noted | The Department conducted an inspection on the CNX Thomas Bell 1 gas well and piping in response to a complaint of a gas odor observed around the well and 2-inch sales line. The Thomas Bell 1 well appears to be producing. The Department did not observe any hydrocarbon odors around the well. No combustible gas levels were detected at the wellhead. Paint is flaking off the wellhead and moderate corrosion of the wellhead was observed. A 2-inch sales line appears to be connected to the wellhead. At the time of the inspection it appears a valve connected to the wellhead and 2-inch sales line was closed. The Department was unable to determine if the Thomas Bell 1 supplies gas to the 2-inch sales line. The 2-inch line is partially buried along the pipeline right of way. While inspecting the 2-inch line, the Department observed a slight hydrocarbon odor. The Department did not detect any combustible levels of gas along the line. |
