2694168 | Primary Facility | 2018-02-09 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Friday, February 9, 2018, I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the Perkey Unit 2 gas well site located in Center Township, Greene County.
The access road and the well pad were in good condition. The area was partially snow covered and significant vegetative growth was observed through the snow cover and in areas without snow. There was no secondary containment around the one production tank on-site. The production tank appeared to be in good condition with no apparent signs of material degradation. The gas well and the associated infrastructure appeared to be in good condition and functioning properly. The well was labelled. No violations were identified during the inspection. |
2845218 | Primary Facility | 2019-02-05 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Tuesday February 5, 2019 I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the Perkey 2 Vertical Gas Well (VGW) Site located in Center Township, Greene County.
The access road, which also services the Perkey 1 VGW, and the pad area were in good condition. The site has been stabilized with uniform vegetative growth. The production tank appeared to be in sound condition. There is no secondary containment around the production tank. Although the operator is compliant with current regulations, they should consider using secondary containment constructed of impermeable materials. A release of fluid can result in a violation being issued to the operator. The gas well and associated infrastructure appeared to be in good condition and functioning properly. The well was tagged with identification. No violations were identified during the inspection. |
