At the permitted location of the Sotler 30H well, the top of a steel corrugated well cellar was observed. The Sotler 30H well is not visible. In response to a notice of violation issued to Rice Drilling B on 12/27/2016, Rice Drilling B cleaned out and plugged the Sotler 30H well on 3/9/2017. Rice Drilling B provided the signed plugging certificate, cement job log, and a photo taken of the plugged and marked well (see attached). The well was plugged with 27 bbls class a cement, capped with a steel plate with the permit number affixed and buried below grade. |
