It appears that BT is emptied through 4 inch plastic pipe that is attached to valve at bottom of tank. Pipe goes through what appears to be a wetland and ends at a valve alongside Rosebud Mine AR. This pipe appears structurally sound although it is buried or under water in several places; visual inspection along the entire length is not possible.No E&S issues observed at site or on AR.Dept records indicate that waste production has not been reported since 2011. Dept is requesting BT readings from Jan 2011 to present. Dept is also requesting disposal manifests from Jan 2011 to present. Please submit documents by 1-14-16. Inspection is PENDING review of documentation.UPDATE: 1-11-15. Dept received disposal manifests from Opr via e-mail on 1-5-16. Opr stated that pipe was installed to allow easier emptying of BT. Also stated that well has not produced brine since 2011. After review of submitted documents and Dept records, it is determined that Opr is ICP at this time. |
