Surface casing appears to be open to the tank based on 1" plastic connected to tank. Production casing is open to the plunger system control box. Tubing is open to the separator unit. Separator unit has a new weekly chart dated 5/9/18. While inspecting well the separator started to discharge gas to atmosphere. Watched separator blow gas for 5 minutes. Production went off the chart during discharge to atmosphere. Attempted to contact company representative and left messages. Later that day talked to rep and was informed that well was recently opened back to production. The Kimray dump valve on the separator unit malfunctioned and was stuck open because of being shut in for so long. Well tender will now watch well and manually open and close valve. |

Upon inspection of well site seen that tubing is open to separator and valves on separator are shut.
On 7/12/17 a NOV was issued for OGA 3220(A) failure to plug well upon abandonment. Annual production report 2017 shows production and well was producing gas during previous inspection so well is no longer in violation. To maintain compliance well needs to continue showing annual production, be plugged or apply for and be granted inactive status. |
