2252994 Primary Facility 2014-03-12 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection, well is being drilled. Water is being pumped down-hole for dust suppression. Operator is pumping this water out and into the pit. Water from pit is being taken off-site by tanker trucks. Dept. recommends operator monitor their pit to ensure a minimum of 2 feet of freeboard is maintained. During inspection, area is receiving heavy rain and snow-melt resulting in pooling water and mud on the pad. Dept. also recommends that operator monitor BMP's to prevent erosion and/or sedimentation events. At time of inspection, access road is in stable condition.
2254725 Primary Facility 2014-03-18 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection, rig on site. Site ID sign and drilling permit present. Dept. observed minor ponding on pad. This could possibly result in mud on and off the permit area. Dept. recommends adding rock to pad in order to minimize potential E&S concerns and to continue to monitor BMP's. Drill pit has at least 2 feet of freeboard at this time. Dept. also recommends the operator monitor content levels in the pit to ensure that a minimum 2 feet of freeboard is maintained at all times. Access road is in stable condition.
2256931 Primary Facility 2014-03-10 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted At the time of inspection, no E&S issues were present at the site. Pit lined with appropriate liner. No freeboard issues. Current depth was 780 feet. Coal was encountered at 552’-55’, 160’ to 165’, 185’to 192’. Water was encountered at 225 ft and 355 ft. Conductor pipe (13 3/8”) was set at 84 feet. Pipe was cemented to surface. Driller was Ed Patterson. 8 centralizers were set on the 9 5/8” pipe. Norac performed cement project. A total of 26 sacks of Type 1 was used with 13 bbl. of return. Safety meeting was held be Norac.

Current depth was 1420 feet. Tentative depth of well was 4200 feet. Met WQI, Mark Millard at the site. Heavy rains occurred during the site visit.
