2166017 Primary Facility 2013-05-13 Routine/Complete Inspection Pending At the time of inspection the drill rig was onsite and placed on containment. The erosion and sedimentation plan was onsite, however the department notes several areas surrounding the well pad, on the fill side of the pad that need routine maintenance, specifically regraded seeded and mulched. the Department observed multiple areas that accelerated erosion cut channels and is transporting sediment toward the LOD and perimeter controls. The perimeter controls appear to sound however the areas contributing to the accelerated erosion are in need of attention. The Department suggest the Operator address the erosion channels and regrade, seed and mulch the affected areas. The various pit located onsite appear to be in sound condition and appear to have the required 2' of freeboard. The Department also suggests the Operator continue to monitor the site weekly and after significant precipitation events to ensure the stability of the site maintained.
2166019 Primary Facility 2013-05-14 Follow-up Inspection Pending Follow up inpsection and meeting onsite with Operator in response to phone call regarding the previous days inspection. The Operator and Department inspected the site and the Operator agreed to address the affected areas. The Department notes that the Operator request of a two week time frame to begin work bacause the issues noted were currently not in danger of over topping permiter BMPs. The Department aggreed to a two week time frame and request a phone call notification the day work would begin.
