0126506499 | 2018-08-20 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was starting to rig down and move out. They did not run the slotted liner. Max Donaker said that Dwayne wanted to have the well logged first. There were no sags or holes in the pit liner and the fluid level was well below the top of the pit wall. |
0168595753 | 2018-09-12 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the site had been prepped to frac the well. There were 6 frac tanks staged on the location. Phil Morans service rig was parked at the wellhead. There was a frac valve on the well casing, and a string of tubing on a rack next to the wellhead. The drilling pit was closed and the site had been graded. |
0252474762 | 2018-10-29 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that 80 % of the wellsite was covered in short grass. The south end of the site was still rough and bare. The access road was in good condition. I found no signs of erosion or wash-outs across the wellsite or access road. The natural gas powered pumping unit was in operation at the time of my inspection. There were no fluid or gas leaks from the wellhead. The well is being produced into a common tank battery on the west side of TR 396. There was no identification posted at the pumping unit or tanks. |
0264065093 | 2018-08-03 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was tripping out of the hole. The lost circulation and their mud pump still wasnt working at full capacity. The depth chart showed that they were at 2759 feet. I noticed that a puddle of brine water was starting to collect at the bottom of the hill, next to the road, where Wilson was parking to load water from the frac tanks. I did not find any leaks from the tanks. The puddle was the result of excess water left in the load line when Wilson disconnected. I called Dwayne Dugan to ask that he do something to remedy the situation. He said that he would be out today and get it taken care of. |
0643828855 | 2018-07-20 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was drilling the surface hole at a depth of 437 feet. The string of used, tested 7 inch diameter casing was on the pipe racks and there were three centralizers on the rig. Mark Donaker said that they were drilling to 455 feet and they should be ready to cement the casing this afternoon. |
0696057113 | 2018-07-23 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling had topped the annulus off with sack cement. They had the air head installed and they were rigging up to start rotary drilling. The crew was working on the brakes for the drilling rig. The pit liner was in good shape and the fluid level was well below the top of the pit. The drill collars were staged on the racks and the rig was ready to start drilling once the brake work was finished. |
0698962890 | 2018-07-18 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was drilling the surface hole at a depth of 300 feet. The permit was posted on the rig. There were no sags or holes in the pit liner. I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. |
0824034656 | 2018-08-02 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was not drilling. They were circulating, but the flow was minimal. The Newburg was drinking fluid and their mud pump was not able to keep up. The Donakers said that the mud pump was only running on half power, so they were shutting down for the day to make repairs. Wilsons water hauling was out to get another load from the frac tanks at the bottom of the lease road. The depth chart showed that they were at a depth of 2694 feet. |
0872149875 | 2018-08-10 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling had drilled to the top of the Clinton sand at a depth of 3008 feet. They had all of their drill pipe tripped out of the hole and they were loading the string of used 4.5 inch diameter casing on the pipe racks. Dwayne Dugan gave me a copy of the casing pressure test paperwork. The pit liner was in good shape and the fluid was well below the top of the pit wall. Dwayne said that they will be running and cementing the casing tomorrow. |
0939068408 | 2018-08-16 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling had drilled to a total depth of 3072 feet. They were starting to rig down and move out. There were four joints of slotted liner staged to be run in the well. The pit liner was in good shape and the fluid level was well below the top of the pit. |
1000223858 | 2018-08-27 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the drilling rig and equipment had been moved off of the site. The pit was partially closed and there was a back-hoe parked at the site. There were two trailers, some joints of casing and a string of tubing left at the site. The well was equipped with a wellhead and shut in. |
1004203199 | 2018-07-13 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling had just got the 10.75 inch diameter conductor casing driven to a depth of 62 feet. Max Donaker said that they spudded the well on 7/11/18. The permit was posted in the drilling rig. There were no sags or holes in the pit liner, and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. H&D was rigging up the bit to start drilling the surface hole. |
1295098817 | 2018-08-09 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling brought in a different mud pump and they were back to drilling. They were at a depth of 2800 feet, drilling on fluid and aerating. There were no sags or holes in the pit liner, and I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. The permit was posted in the rig and the H2S monitor was on the rig. Wilsons water hauling was in to pick up a load while I was at the drill site. |
1304029411 | 2018-08-06 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | |
1531761319 | 2018-07-16 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was drilling the surface hole at a depth of 145 feet. The permit was posted on the rig. There were no sags or holes in the pit liner. I found no leaks or spills around the drill site. |
1532116664 | 2018-07-20 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling had drilled the 10 inch diameter surface hole to a depth of 458 feet. The were in the process of running the 7 inch diameter surface casing. They equipped the casing with three centralizers and a guide shoe. Formation Cementing pumped gel, cotton seed hulls and cell-flake ahead and shut in for 30 minutes. They did establish circulation briefly when they went back to pumping and mixing cement, but the fluid fell back down the well after a few minutes. Circulation was re-established and maintained throughout the displacement stage. Formation landed the plug and pressured up to 500 pounds and shut in for 5 minutes. The cement started to recede while they were holding the pressure. I told Dwayne Dugan and Max Donaker to top the annulus off with sack cement before they rig up for air drilling. |
1532545725 | 2018-07-25 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was drilling on air, at a depth of 910 feet. Mark Donaker said that they just got back to drilling yesterday because they were making rig repairs. There were no holes or sags in the pit liner and there were no leaks or spills around the drill site. The permit was posted in the drilling rig. |
1532706975 | 2018-07-27 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was at a depth of 2244 feet. They were not drilling, because the air compressor was down for repairs. There were no visible holes or sags in the pit liner. Dwayne Dugan was at the drill site, so I reminded him that they need an H2S detector on the rig since they are in the Big Lime. Dwayne had it in his truck and he gave it to the driller to put up near the bore hole. The drilling crew was shutting down for the day. Dwayne said that they would be out tomorrow to work on the compressor and start moving frac tanks. |
1533048211 | 2018-07-31 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was tripping drill string back in to the well. Dwayne Dugan was at the site and he said that they have not made any hole since I was out there last Friday. Dwayne said that they worked on the compressor over the weekend and then they lost circulation yesterday, so they tripped 36 joints of drill string out of the hole. During my inspection they were pressuring up, trying to blow fluid out of the hole. Dwayne suspected that they hit oil in the Oriskany and it was too heavy for them to circulate out of the hole. H&D was running 10 joints at a time back in the hole and then trying to blow the fluid out. The hole was still at a depth of 2244 feet. There were issues with the pit and Dwayne had his H2S detector on the rig. |
1533735898 | 2018-08-08 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that no one from H&D Drilling was at the drill site. I spoke to Dwayne Dugan on the phone and he said that the mud pump was down again. Dwayne said that they were drilling with no problems yesterday. They had good circulation and they were making hole. Dwayne said that he expected them to be at the top of the sand today and tripping out for casing. H&D Drilling was bringing a different mud pump to the site to finish drilling. |
1534169182 | 2018-08-13 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the 4.5 inch diameter production casing was in the well and shut in with a cement head. Max Donaker reported that they cemented the casing over the weekend. H&D Drilling was loading a string of tubing onto the pipe racks. Max said that they were getting ready to start drilling the plug out to drill into the Clinton sand. The pit liner was still in good shape and the fluid level was well below the top of the pit wall. They did not report that H2S was encountered during drilling or casing operations. |
1534255998 | 2018-08-14 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was fishing for lost drill collars. Max Donaker said that they lost three drill collars and one joint of tubing down the well bore. They had not started drilling out the plug yet. Max was running in with tubing that was equipped with a skirt to get over the tubing threads. |
1713923099 | 2018-08-01 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that H&D Drilling was drilling at a depth of 2566 feet. They were drilling on fluid with some air. Mark Donaker said that they had to go to fluid to regain circulation. There were no sags in the pit liner and the fluid level was three feet below the top of the pit. Dwayne moved two frac tanks to the site and they were pumping pit water to the tanks in order to keep the pit level down. There were no spills around the drill site and the H2S monitor was on the rig. |
