1254233393 2016-06-22 Orphan No Violations I inspected this well location along with Inspector Norburt Lowder. At the time of this inspection, the well is located in a sloped, wooded area adjacent a large area of meadow grass. The immediate well area slopes to the NE towards a small tributary creek. Visible elements consist of the following: a 10-inch diameter casing that extended 6 feet above surface grade with a blinded-ended Dresser fitting that forms a top closure. There is a 1 3/8-inch diameter steel line which extends vertically several feet and open to atmosphere. There was a 1 3/8-inch steel line connected to the 10-inch casing sidewall, near the top. This same traveled downward, was connected to a T-connection with valves on each side, and the re-connected with the 10-inch casing at grade level. Water was observed to be leaking from the 1 3/8-inch line, along the vertical run, near surface grade. The leaking was draining downhill towards the creek. The water appeared clear, with no odors or indications of oil. Field testing indicated a chloride content of less than 28 ppm. pH was 8. There was some whitish mineral deposits along the course of the water drainage. There was no indication of gas leakage. The well was surrounded by a maturely wooded area,
