| -Call from owner Fred Werners son William, on 10/20/08. Freds house is at 11305 Preble Co. Line Rd, Brookville, OH 45309, north of Verona, OH.  Bills cellphone # is 937-689-0334. Call re: gas in water well drilled on 8/14/07 to depth of 185 (well diameter at 7.825 & 5 PVC pipe run to 165 below surface & 1.6 above ground). Wiley Well Drilling put on1 metal cap, w/ ball valve & pressure gauge. Bill said pressure has risen from 30 PSI to 50 PSI. He did not know if the contract w/ Wiley required driller to plug. New shallower well drilled on 8/20/07 to 66 did not hit gas. Insp. W/ Mike Mitchell. Photos taken, GPS reading taken. Cap taken off. Mike got 25 LEL on gas meter, H2S was 0, & Oxygen was 20.7. Met w/ Bill & John Werner at /house. They did not know if they wanted to use the gas domestically, sell it,, or plug well. Mike recommended they slowly bleed gas on a windy day to see if it plays out. If gas plays out, Mike gave Bill several places that sell bentonite clay & a handout on plugging the well. Discussed well permit requirements & requested Bill call me.
