The well pad and access road are well vegetated and no erosion was noted. The well site remains at its original size and has not been restored. A Notice of Termination was submitted to the Department on 4/2/2015. The Well Site Compliance Information Request reply (submitted 9/21/2015) states the site was reclaimed and the NOT was to be submitted. According to the Department’s records, the wells onsite were drilled in 2010 and completed in 2010 and 2011. No new drilling permits have been issued since 2010. The well pad remains at its original size and was not restored. Furthermore, the southeast corner of the well pad appears to extend near or outside the LOD. Overall, the site is currently permanently stabilized (with both vegetation and rock) but has not been restored per §3216(a) of the Oil and Gas Act. I recommend the NOT for this ESCGP be denied. No Violations Noted. |
