2521308 | Primary Facility | 2016-09-20 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Inspection of the Alice & Harold House 1V well in Sweden Twp. Potter County conducted September 20, 2016 at 12:00 pm. According to PA Oil & Gas Mapping, The well was drilled in 1965 and plugged in 1988, But the well record from 1966 shows it was plugged in 1966 after the hole was found to be non-productive. I found the well in a field near the intersection of Irish Farm Rd and Brookland Rd. North of the intersection I drove North on a dirt road between fields and veered left before the woods where the field ends. I spotted the well casings on the North side of that field. At the time of inspection; the well had a 8 5/8” casing outside of 6 1/4” casing. The 6 1/4” casing was open. I tagged bottom at approximately 575’, fairly consistent with well record that says they plugged back from 650’ (Well Record states “Plug set at 650’, 20’ stone & mud and 5 sacks (approx. 25’ in 6 1/4”) Cement”). TD of hole drilled is 4935’. I isolated the 6 1/4” from atmosphere by covering in plastic, sealing with a bungee-cord, an |
