The pumpjack has an electric motor, however the electric box is disconnected and laying on the ground. Electric wires are disconnected from poles. There is no dike around tank and production equipment. Hopewell must post legible ID in accordance to OAC 1501:9-9-05(A)1. Hopewell Oil and Gas must produce or plug the well in accordance with ORC 1509.062(A). Dike needs to be constructed in order to fulfill SPCC rule. 9-9-05(A)10

1391188719 2014-01-31 Compliance Action Follow Up -28629038: All production equipment has been removed from the wellhead location. There is now just an idle well with some plastic lines laying about on the ground. I talked to Jerry and he stated they will be sending a rig into Morgan County very soon to plug all of their idle wells. He stated the weather as well as other wells in other counties have put this area behind on their plugging schedule.
