We inspected the site today, sampled the fluid (mimimum 606 PPM on low quantab, did not register on high quantabs,) and took needed photos of area. As this well is in the I&O program, will keep checking on status. | ||||
| -1938958115 | 2013-07-23 | This plugged well is leaking brine and gas (no oil seen). There is a 40'x50' kill area around the well and a 10'x50' kill area that follows the drainage pattern. There is a 1' high by 10' diameter dike around the well with trapped water inside where gas can be seen bubbling to the surface. An orphan well report and Matrix was filled out and forforded to Brent Bear. | ||||
| -2124522713 | 2002-12-17 | Returned 3rd call to Richard Boley and he gave me directions to his well . He said that the well has started to leak and is getting worse . I arrived and found signs of a improperly plugged well . There is a dark circle in the middle of a very nice field . I checked for brine level and found it to peak a low range quantab . I next checked for Gps readings and found that there was a well in this location which appears to have been plugged . There is no information available at this time . Last I collected photos and footage readings . The well is 96 yards from Cemetery rd . There is no way into this field and a bridge will need to be constructed just to bring equipment in .There is also a gas line at the entrance way along with power lines . |
