-1012167600 2012-02-14 My inspection revealed that this well is not in operation. I contacted the well owner/operator and received the same argument: that he has spent enough and that well is producing when I am not there. He still has a leak in the sales line and his production tanks. I asked him if the tanks had been repaired and he said no. I asked if the sales line had been repaired and he said no. He said that he has more to do than just fix problems I call him about. I will request a Chief Order after the 3/2012 deadline for production reports.
-1084295706 2012-02-22 During my follow up inspection I found that well was not in operation. I contacted Mr. Lengacher and asked if he was going to keep to the repair schedule, which he is not. He said that the well was in production and the leaking tanks are not leaking now. The well is just in operation when I am not there. I advised that his reporting of production was due soon and he needed to produce enough to meet minimum standards. I have sent out a copy of what those minimums requirements are so he could not say that he did not know. After the reporting deadline, I will request a Chiefs Order if the minimums have not been met.

-135008809 2012-03-22 I checked this well to see if the well owner has placed the well into production. I did not see the well in operation. The leaking production tanks are still on site. There are no tire tracks on the lease road from the entrance back to the well.

I advised him that his production tanks are leaking, along with the brine vault that has been over run. The brine tank (production tank # 2) is leaking at the heater tube. The brine vault has less than 5 gallons of over run but still needs cleaned up. The operator is to remove the tanks and clean up the affected sres. He wants to replace tanks because he knows that they are bad. I also informed him that the liner has slipped in the pits he excavated to flow back into and that he must pump off and close these pits. He will call S&H and have the pits closed. NONE(B)
1304517658 2011-04-07 This well has been idle for over a year. I have checked this site and did not find the well in operation. The owner has died. I have tried to enquire to see if the estate has transferred the well to the family. I have also tried to find an operator willing to take the well over rather than plug it. I have not found an operator willing to take over and will not proceed with the Orphan well plug program. There is also a well reported to be on this property which truly is an orphan well. After three attempts to locate I have not. I did locate a line but due to high water I was not able to trace it down. Court house search is needed as well.

I contacted the well owner who only wanted to argue about why it is not in production. He stated that the well is in operation, just not while I have been there. He also stated that he has spent enough on this well and to expect him to keep spending is crazy. There is a hole in his sales line that is keeping the well from operating. The tanks leak and have not been removed. The line leaks have not been repaired. I explained, once again, I would request a Chiefs order to have the well placed into production or plugged. He is to report the past/current production from this well which will determine if need to escalate enforcement.
