-497097608 2014-04-17 My inspection found the well in production. The well was equipped with a plunger lift unit. A domestic gas line came off of the 4.5" casing. The tank battery consisted of a 100 barrel production tank, a 50 barrel brine tank, and a separator. An identification sign was posted on the production tank. The dike was weathered and not capable of meeting containment requirements. A bull plug was on the load line. The lease road was in good condition with an open gate at the entrance. The well was placed into production prior to House Bill 278. I called Larry, the field supervisor for Enervest. I instructed Larry to build a new dike.
