1110481215 | 2005-03-10 | Complaint filed by Wayne County Health Department from Lowell Hilty. Hilty's expressed an odor of sulfur in well water after trucks were seen at a tank battery 300' north of Hilty's water well. Mormack had a leak in a heater tube at P# 2272. Oil tankers removed oil from 1-100 barrel tank and Mormack repaired the heater tube by welding the tube closed. 1'x1' oil stain at bottom of tank inside dike has been tilled up. 100 barrel tank remains empty. Well is in production. Met with Mrs. Hilty and pumped water well for 10 minutes then collected water samples. Requested oil and gas parameters be tested at ODNR lab. No visable oil sheens on water.
