1365522009 2013-04-08 On Friday,4/5/2013 at 1730 hours, I was notified by Deputy Chief Dave Claus notified me that there was a tank explosion on Thursday, 4/4/3013 at the above location and that he did not know who the owner of the well was. I called Paul Shaw from Dorfman Production and ask him if he had heard of this and he said yes. He was not sure of the company but thought is was S&S Energy. On Saturday, 4/6/2013, I spoke to Pep Horning, a representative of the company he said they had a tank explosion on Thursday that the cause was unknown . He stated that Barnett Excavating was called to do the clean up on Thursday and D P Operating was call and vacuumed the oil that was inside the dike, which was approximate 30 barrels. On Monday, 4/8/2013 I inspected the location. There was and equipment operator from Barnett Excavating on location building the tank pad and dike with clean dirt and stone. He was the one that responded on Thursday, 4/5/2013. He explained to me what they had done and how they had cleaned up the mist that had went into the brush and wood area. We walked the area. I found a small area that had a small amount of oil on the ground. I had him remove it. All contaminated soil and stone was properly disposed of. I will do a fellow up inspection at this location.
