Drilling is completed, and the well is shut in. Cellar is filled with water with a layer of ice on the top. Well head is leaking from somewhere below the surface of the water. Gas is bubbling up through the water all around the wellhead. There was no discernable smell of natural gas, but the gas could be heard bubbling. Pictures and a video were taken of the well head leak. A spill was noted between the well head and the pit. This spill appears to either be drill cuttings, or drilling mud. Spill will be turned over to WQS Sam Jones. |
