Inspection Data

INSPECTION ID DATE DESCRIPTION COMMENT VIOLATION ID
1873540 2010-03-30 No Violations Noted The Department conducted an investigation in relation to a complaint filed stating that the well access road is causing excessive flooding on the down gradient side directly across the crossover drain. During my inspection of the site there was excessive water on the complainant¿s property. The Department spoke with Jeff Grove of Dominion and he stated that he told the complainant to call DEP to have this issue resolved. The Department is going to revisit the site on a day where there is significant precipitation because there was no clear evidence linking the access road to the flooding on the complainant¿s property.
1878524 2010-04-07 No Violations Noted Michael Morgart, Brian Rankin, and I met on site with representatives of the operator, municipal authority, and Gibson Thomas regarding a complaint of storm water runoff. All parties agreed that Dominion should clean out the existing cut side ditch and plug the existing crossover pipe to direct runoff water down gradient along the access road and past the complainant¿s property, where it would then dissipate on an existing well site. At the time of the inspection there had been minimal precipitation but the complainants property was still wet in areas about the residence.
