Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2147081 Primary Facility 03/11/2013 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted The site has three wells on it. Yeager 1H spudded but not completed (125-24314), Yeager 2H, Regulatory Inactive (125-24315) and 7H, producing (125-23824).
2217911 Primary Facility 10/23/2013 Routine/Partial Inspection No Violations Noted On October, 23, 2013, while conducting an inspection of the Yeager CI, I noticed that Range was expanding the Yeager well pad. This expanded area was to both the southwest and northeast side of the pad. It included the area where the recently filled-in cuttings pit had originally been.
2219676 Primary Facility 11/05/2013 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On November 5, 2013, Vince Yantko, Bryon Miller and I stopped at the Yeager drill site for a routine inspection.
2223632 Primary Facility 11/18/2013 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On November 18, 2013, I stopped at Range’s Yeager drill pad for a routine inspection. They newly seeded areas were starting to come in and there was no evidence of accelerated erosion on the site.
2249094 Primary Facility 02/14/2014 Routine/Partial Inspection No Violations Noted On February 14, 2014, I verified that Range was setting up to resume drilling at the Yeager well pad. According to the on-site supervisor, they were planning on resume drilling (the 1H and 2H pads were already spudded) on either Sunday, February 16th or Monday February 17th.

2275064 Primary Facility 05/30/2014 Follow-up Inspection Outstanding Violations - No Viols Req'd On May 30, 2014, I stopped at the Yeager drill pad for a routine inspection. At inspection, Range's contractor was drilling out the plugs on the 1H and 2H wells. They have completed the fracking on these wells and crews are starting the tear-down phase to remove the extra tanks brought in. There was a 60-mil liner around the well sites and associated equipment. It looked to be in good shape.
2278450 Primary Facility 05/14/2014 Incident- Response to Accident or Event No Violations Noted malodor investigation
2278969 Primary Facility 06/16/2014 Follow-up Inspection Outstanding Violations - No Viols Req'd On June 16, 2014 I stopped at the Yeager drill pad for a routine inspection. At inspection the 1H and 2H wells have been drilled and were being prepared for production, the subcontractor I spoke to hoped to start production on 6/17/14.
2282875 Primary Facility 06/30/2014 Follow-up Inspection Outstanding Violations - No Viols Req'd On June 30, 2014 I stopped at the Yeager drill pad for a routine inspection. At inspection the 1H and 2H wells were in production.

The three wells were in production and all were tagged. I noticed no obvious spills on the pad. Range reseeded the area east of the production pads and the vegetation was starting to fill in. The access road to the site is beginning to wash and Range will need to address this.

2505835 Primary Facility 2016-07-26 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On July 26, 2016, I stopped at the Yeager pad for a routine inspection; I was the only one on-site.

The pad appears to be in decent shape and I noticed no obvious spills. There are three wells on site and in production. The wells are tagged and I noticed no obvious leaks.

There are two production units here and four production tanks. I noticed is that there were a lot of weeds growing onsite including inside the production tanks’ secondary containment.

Range is storing purge water from monitoring wells in an area near the pad production tanks. Their labeling indicates that they have been here since February 2015.The access road to the site is beginning to wash and Range will need to address this.

2834711 Primary Facility 2019-02-01 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 2/1/2019 at approximately 11:30, I conducted a routine inspection of the Yeager Well Pad located in Amwell Township, Washington County. The following was observed:
  • The Act 9 sign located at the site entrance was in good condition.
  • All wells on site were marked and appeared in good condition.
  • Production equipment appeared in good condition.
  • Production fluid tanks were within secondary containment and appeared in good condition.
  • The site appeared stable with no signs of accelerated erosion. Heavy snow cover prevented a thorough inspection of the ground at the project area.

No violations were identified during this inspection.
