0061445041 | 2017-03-13 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | On the day of my inspection I found that the wellhead was equipped as a swab well. It was also equipped for domestic gas to the Mullett Tire shop with a regulator, drip bottle and meter. There were no leaks at the wellhead. The flow line ran to one 100 barrel steel tank. There was not a containment dike around the tank. Correct legible identification was posted on the tank. I noticed a rusted spot on the bottom shoulder of the tank and darkened coloration in the soil next to the spot. I brushed the soil away and found that the rusted metal was damp. I dug down a few inches into the soil and it was all darkly stained. There was not a visible hole in the tank, but the rusted area was slowly seeping fluid that had a petroleum odor. I called Williams Oilfield Service and reported the issue. John Williams met me at the site. He said that they havent used the tank for some time. They bring a plastic tank out to swab the well. He gauged the tank and found that there was 6 to 8 inches of fluid in the bottom. I requested that John remove the tank. He agreed and said that he could have it out within 30 days. |
0941336272 | 2017-04-05 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the tank had been moved and repaired with a steel plate welded over the rusted spot. I did not find any stained soil remaining around the tank. I spoke with John Williams and he said that they found that the tank was still in overall good condition when they moved it, so they made the repair and decided to keep the tank in place rather than eliminate it. The compliance notice is resolved. |
1496432060 | 2013-01-17 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the well head was equipped with a plunger lift system and connected to a tank battery that consisted of one 100 barrel stock tank and one separator. Proper identification was posted and there were no leaks or spills. No violations at this time. |
1856472255 | 2018-01-18 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the valves were open at the wellhead to the domestic gas meter and gas line. There were no signs of leaking in the snow around the wellhead or 100 barrel steel tank. Correct, legible identification was posted. |
