1227646731 | 2008-11-25 | Production Wells | No Violations | I received a request from Erica Freeman for an updated well status check. The well is in the same condition as it was during my last inspection on 12-7-2005. The well is swedged from 4 to 2 and shut in with a 2 diameter ball valve. There are remnants of a pumpjack pad and miscellaneous piping and debris to the west of the wellhead. There is a 210 barrel stock tank, horizontal separator, and a buried concrete brine vault at the tank battery. There has been no reported production in RBDMS since 1996. The 1996 reported production was by Todd Mason O&G, owner # 2080. The well is idle and is not supplying house gas. I met with the nearest home owner, John Stuckey (330-484-5429), who said that A-W Wellman is his father-in- law. Wellman lives in Phoenix, Arizona and is in very poor health. Stuckey was deeded the well when he bought the property from his father-in-law 20 years ago. A change of well ownership was never done. Stuckey used to pump wells for Wellman. Stuckey said that the well is loaded up with fluid and has not produced or supplied house gas for many years. Stuckey tried to sell the well several years ago, but a deal was never struck. Stuckey is using wood and propane to heat his house. |

There are remnants of a pumpjack pad and miscellaneous piping and debris to the west of the wellhead. On 11/25/2008 inspector Dave Claus performed another inspection of this well. The well was in the same condition as it was during his last inspection on 12-7-2005. Inspector Claus found that the well was idle and not supplying house gas. Inspector Claus met with the nearest home owner, John Stuckey (330-484-5429), who said that A-W Wellman was his father-in- law. Wellman lived in Phoenix, Arizona and was in very poor health. Stuckey was deeded the well when he bought the property from his father-in-law 20 years ago. A change of well ownership was never done. Stuckey used to pump wells for Wellman. Stuckey is using wood and propane to heat his house. During my inspection I found the well to be in the same condition as previous. I tried to contact Mr. Stuckey but was unsuccessful. This well is idle and is not being used as a domestic well. I have tried to contact the provided number for A-W Wellman and the number is currently disconnected. 1645086706 | 2016-07-18 | Production Wells | No Violations | I had a meeting Heidi Scott (Inspector 3 Oil & Gas) at the Uniontown office 07-14-2016 to determine if John W. and Cynthia L. Stuckey were the owners of the well or did it transfer to the new property owners. With that, I met with Landowners Edmund D. and Zoe A. Oswalt to see if they had any contact information for John W. and Cynthia L. Stuckey. Mrs. Oswalt said they did not have any contact information for Mr. and Mrs. Stuckey since the transfer of the property was handled by an attorney representing Mr. and Mrs. Stuckey. She did question why I was trying to located the John Stuckey and I advised the Division of Oil and Gas was trying to determine the ownership of the well on the property. After hearing that Mrs. Oswalt stated the well had transferred to their ownership when the property transferred to them which was 06-05-2015 according to the Stark County Auditors records. I forwarded this information via e-mail to Heidi Scott and Rick Anderson (District Supervisor) on 07-18-2016. |
