1376070312 | 2013-04-11 | Orphan | No Violations | My inspection this day to begin the process for entering well into Orphan Well Program. This well consists of a 10 wellhead on casing that measures 7 ID. The well has 2 3/8 tubing and a hole in the wellhead for 1 tubing that would be on gas escape packer. Open to the air, this well has a gas odor as you approach it. There is a pile of 1 tubing and a pumping tee laying beside the well and a few rods also in the pile. The ties that the jack set on are still in place and the location is fairly flat with a steep cliff between the well and County Rd. 15 (Germantown Rd.). While there are no well records, the well will be Cow Run Sand @380 and drilled by a cable tool rig - shot with nitroglycerin. Removing the casing and equipment from the well may involve fishing and/or milling. Pictures taken, SEM is 137. Water well in use is 475 away with a depth of 102. |
