| I inspected this well at the request of the landowner.  He was concerned about a possible gas leak and the condition of the tank battery.  I inspected the location and found a diked tank battery containing a 100 barrel stock tank and a 30-40 barrel tank.  There was a horizontal separator and chart box in the battery as well as 2 domestic meters reading 9psi and 7psi.  The chart has not been changed recently and the last commercial production reported from this well was in 2007.  The heater tube on the 100 barrel appears to have a leak and there is sludge in the end of the tube.  The ID on the tank is badly worn and indicates Great Lakes as the owner of the well.  The overall appearance of the battery is overgrown and the equipment requires maintenance.  The wellhead consists of a pumping unit that is badly overgrown with weeds and the belt on the motor is broken.  I walked the entire location with a PHD6 gas meter looking for leaks in the wellhead, flow lines, and at the tank battery.  I detected 0.05ppm of methane near the "Big Joe" regulator in the tank battery and no LEL.  I did not detect methane anywhere else on location.  I spoke with Enervest about getting this well back in production and addressing the issues I found on location.  I also asked them to test the flow lines to assure that nothing is leaking.  I will monitor their progress to see that the issues are fixed.

319223626 2013-10-09 I inspected this well at the request of the landowner. He was concerned about a possible gas leak and the condition of the tank battery. I detected 0.05ppm of methane near the Big Joe regulator in the tank battery and no LEL. I did not detect methane anywhere else on location. I spoke with Enervest about getting this well back in production and addressing the issues I found on location. I also asked them to test the flow lines to assure that nothing is leaking.
