2473978 | Primary Facility | 2016-04-12 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Routine inspection conducted to assess general site conditions. No Chesapeake representatives were present.
Vegetative cover on site is greater than 70%. No evidence of accelerated erosion or sedimentation was observed. The electrical conductance of puddles on the well pad was screened and ranged from 300 - 585 uS/cm. The Erosion and Sediment Control Permit (ESCGP) for this site expired on 03/27/2016, and the active drilling permit expires on 06/12/2016. According to the Department's records, no request for a 2-year extension to restore the well site has been requested. In order to maintain compliance with Section 3216 of the Oil and Gas Act of 2012 (58 Pa. C.S. § 3216), the site must be restored or a 2-year extension of time must be requested. No violations were cited during this inspection. |
2542818 | Primary Facility | 2016-12-07 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Routine inspection conducted to assess overall site conditions. No Chesapeake representatives were present.
Vegetative cover on site is greater than 70% and temporary erosion and sediment control BMPs have been removed. No evidence of accelerated erosion or sedimentation was observed. The most recent active drilling permit (API No. 015-23076) expired on 06/12/2016. According to the Department's records, arequest for an extension of time to restore the well site was requested on May 11, 2016. To date, the extension of time request has not been approved. No violations were cited during this inspection. |
