1415520882 2014-05-12 Production Wells No Violations I was on location to respond to a lightning strike and fire at this tank battery. I inspected the location with Enervest personnel. The 210 barrel tank that was hit fell just outside the dike and the bottom was partially blown out. I walked around location and there was no oil or brine outside of containment. According to Enervest, the tank was not being used but had enough residual in it to ignite. Half the battery was full of foam that was used to keep the second 210 barrel tank cool until the fire was out. I did not find any free oil inside the battery (most of it burned) and clean-up will amount to removing the destroyed 210 barrel tank, cleaning up inside the dike, and repairing any damaged equipment. There is a horizontal separator and 3 domestic hook-ups at the west end of the tank battery that will need to be inspected. The electric pumping unit and wellhead 70 to the west was unaffected. Note: Coordinates in RBDMS plot the well nearly 2 miles west of the actual location. I verified the location from the original location plat.
