0418856595 2017-10-19 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to document repairs to a flow line elbow on the horizontal separator. The separator elbow was replaced. No leaks were observed. No further action was necessary.
0838860327 2017-05-15 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-0970. A review of RDBMS indicates the Owner was current with reporting production. Access to the well was through an agricultural field road that remained stable and drivable. The well was located in an agricultural field and was stable. Correct and legible identification was posted at the well. The 8.625 well head was at grade. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with an electric pump jack. No audible or visual leaks were observed. A casing pressure gauge indicated 50 psi. A tubing pressure gauge indicated 40 psi. Production valves were in the open position. A horizontal separator was positioned outside of the earthen dike. The ground union inside the separator had a slight leak. I also observed staining on the ground around the discharge line to the production tank consistent with a legacy operation. The fluid was not fresh or live at the time of inspection. The meter set was separate of the separator and contained a current production chart. An earthen dike that was stable and free of fluid was constructed around a 210 bbl production tank and concrete brine vault. Correct and legible identification was posted on the tank body. The tank remained in good repair with no holes or leaks. The load line valve was closed and plugged. The drain line valve was closed and plumbed to the vault. The hatch lid was closed. The concrete brine vault remained in good repair above grade. The vault was holding fluid with several inches of free board. I called Enervest lease operator Don Pahovey while on location and communicated my observation of the leaking ground union and separator flow line. Mr. Pahovey stated he would contact the specific lease operator to repair the leaks and clean up the contaminated areas. I will conduct a follow up inspection to confirm the leaks were repaired and cleaned up.
1475673991 2017-07-12 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to document the repairs to the ground union inside the separator and to the separator flow line. The ground union leak was repaired. The flow line still contained a rubber patch at the elbow connection. While on location I called and spoke with Enervest Field Superintendent Joe Teppert. Mr. Teppert stated he would have the repairs scheduled within a week. I will schedule a follow up inspection to document the status of repairs.
