1143752727 2016-01-12 Production Wells Violations Noted On the day of my inspection, I witnessed this is a plunger- lift system well, using 1.5 inch diameter production tubing placed inside 4.5 inch diameter production casing. The 4.5 inch diameter production casing has been patched at the top of the well head; the patch is now failing and leaking gas. The plunger is being operated by a motor valve. Production equipment for this well includes a 210 bbl. production tank, a 30 bbl. steel brine tank, a horizontal separator, and a 2 inch diameter meter run; all placed inside an earth dike that measures approximately 30*20 feet at an average height of 2 foot. Proper identification is in place; however the permit number(Located on the tank battery) has faded away and cannot be read. The meter chart and production records indicate that this well is in producing order; selling commercial volumes of gas. A call was place to Troy Wells an Enervest production supervisor to inform them of the gas leak, 7 days was granted to fix the issue.
1435665726 2016-02-05 Production Wells No Violations I arrived on location in order to check the status of the leaking production casing that I noted on a previous inspection. A call was placed to Troy Wells an Enervest production supervisor on January 12th in concerns of the leak issue. Troy stated he would fix the leak within 7 days. On the day of my inspection, I found that efforts to fix the leak have been made. The leak was remediated at the time of my inspection.
