0203654251 | 2014-05-23 | Production Wells | No Violations | Inspected production well on 05/23/2014. The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor. Well identification is posted at the wellhead, but it is incorrect (wrong API Number), incomplete, does not reflect the current operator, and will need to be updated. No tanks were noted nearby. Duck Creek Energy was notified of the identification issue and will address it as soon as possible. No other problems were noted at the time of the inspection. |
0903978550 | 2014-08-14 | Production Wells | No Violations | Inspected production well on 08/14/2014. The tank battery consists of 2-100 bbl steel tanks, 1-50 bbl steel tank, and 1-vertical separator located within an earthen dike. The tank battery is used by multiple wells (2); well identification is clearly displayed for all wells utilizing it. The well is equipped with a pump jack with an electric motor. A small compressor station is located next to the pump jack. Well identification information is written on the electric box. No problems were noted at the time of the inspection. |
1362775731 | 2013-03-07 | Production Wells | No Violations | I inspected this well and found one electric powered pump jack on the wellhead. I could not determine the pressure on the tubing or on the casing as there were no gauges installed on either. No leaks were detected on the wellhead or on the adjacent piping and the area around the well was nicely maintained. The tank battery contained two 100 bbl. steel oil storage tanks, one 50 bbl. steel brine storage tank, one vertical oil and gas separator unit and one drip assembly. An identification sign was posted on one of the steel tanks, but the weather had washed away the well name and number and the county and twp. info. No leaks were observed on the tanks or on the piping within the tank battery. The dike was in good shape and the area within and around the dike was well maintained. There was an electrical line that led from the tank battery and was strung onto 6 ft. T posts and stretched over to the Frantz #4 well which was located approx. 100 ft. away from the battery. It was determined that Duck Creek Energy is the owner of the well, but J.R. Bernhardt, Inc. is operating the well for Duck Creek Energy. I contacted John Bernhardt of J.R. Bernhardt and advised him of the need to put the proper well identification information back onto the sign on the tank. He advised me that he will get the sign fixed by next week. |
