1286267168 2016-01-26 Production Wells No Violations I conducted a status check inspection of this Clinton Sandstone well. My inspection today found the well equipped and producing with the aid of a natural gas powered pumping unit. The wellhead is fenced and the proper ID is posted on the fence panel. A gauge indicates 60psi on the production tubing. The well produces to a fenced tank battery to the west and is shared with the Mann-Brokaw Unit #1 (PN#22992). The battery contains one (1) 210 barrel tank, a 35 barrel poly tank, a horizontal separator, and the associated drip bottle and meter run. The proper ID is posted on the 210 barrel tank.
1587503640 2016-11-22 Production Wells No Violations Follow-up to incident #201600230 concerning a flow line leak just east of the tank battery that occurred on 11/19/16 and was reported by the landowner on 11/21/16. My inspection found the area of the leak staked and surrounded by yellow safety ribbon. There was oil on the grass in a 2 X 2 area. The oil was not mobile at this time and I called Kyle Ahbel (Enervest) and asked him to have someone cover the release with Peat-sorb to lock up the oil. Kyle said he would have the pumper come out today and put some peat on the release. He said the line would be repaired next week. I spoke with the landowner, Mrs. Brokaw, about the release and addressed her concerns that it may have been gasoline. I assured her it was not and that it should be cleaned up next week.
