0063272297 2015-11-03 Production Wells No Violations I was on location to witness the cleanup of this wells tank battery due to the overfilling of the 50bbl brine tank. The shared tank battery with well #22515 has been scraped clean of all impacted soil. The soil has been manifested and disposed of at the Kimble Landfill. Lime has been spread in the dike and a load of stone has been placed into the dike. The dike on the tank battery has also been rebuilt. The cleanup of this well has been completed at this time. The electric driven pumpjack is identified and has required gauges. The tank battery contains a 210bbl production tank, 50bbl brine tank, two (2) vertical separators, house gas connection and a chart box. There are no violations at this time.
1480755026 2015-11-03 Production Wells No Violations I was on location to witness the cleanup of this wells tank battery due to the overfilling of the 50bbl brine tank. The flow line from the 210bbl production tank to the 50bbl production tank was left open and this caused approximately 10bbls of oil to overflow the brine tank into the dike of the tank battery. Kyle Ahbel of Enervest contacted me at 2:35pm informing me of the spill. The spill likely started sometime on or before 10/30/2015. The oil was contained within the dike and did not leave. There was no impact to water or wildlife. An Enervest water truck was used to vacuum the free oil from the dike after sump holes were dug to collect the oil. All residual oil was stabilized with peatsorb and will be excavated and disposed off at an EPA approved landfill on 11/3/2015. The brine tank will be pulled from the dike. The dike will then be lined with lime and new fill material installed inside the dike.
