This abandoned well has 11" casing w/ top 4-6 feet encased in a sheath of concrete. A tubing vent w/ elbow extends from the center of the casing/sheath. The 11" casing moves freely in a washed out/caved hole of total unknown depth that has been filled with rocks and debris to within 4-5 feet of surface, but debris has recently subsided to current level. A second well w/ 6" casing is 3 1/2 feet from the first well and appears to be old water well used in drilling the first well. Owners are concerned about subsidence around the well. No gas or fluid leaks observed. |
