2278759 Primary Facility 2014-06-09 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Flowback procedures were in progress during the inspection. The Gowan Bra 1H and 3H wells were in the process of being flowed back. The Gowan Bra 2H and 4H wells are in the production phase of operations. Proflow is the subcontractor conducting flowback procedures at the site. According to Chesapeake, flowback procedures for the 1H and 3H wells commenced on 6/6/14. The type of equipment utilized for the flowback consists of, flowback separation units for each well, plug catchers, (2) gas buster tanks, (2) overflow tanks, (1) for each well and flowback iron which are manifolded flow lines that route the flowback fluid and gas from the wellheads to the gas production units. The entire operation is staged on a secondary containment system consisting of a (40) mil liner with an overlying and underlying layer of felt. The perimeter of the containment system is encompassed by an (18) inch corrugated pipe berm. A (2-3) foot jersey or metal barrier wall encompasses the gas buster and overflow tanks in the containment.
2413073 Primary Facility 2015-10-05 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Gowan 4H: 2-string well, Shut-in. Water in cellar, no bubbling. Tubing pressure: 372 psi, Production casing, shut-in: 1742.7 psi. Production casing was plumbed-in to vent to the production tank. Madigan explained that gas pressure at tubing was low and this motivated the request for inactive status. Plumbing configuration was because Chesapeake briefly vented the production casing to the production tank to estimate the location of the blockage down hole. Blockage is in the tubing.
