| 2705307 | Primary Facility | 2018-03-08 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On March 8, 2018, the Department conducted a routine inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Stevens Location in Standing Stone Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins represented the Department. Nobody was present for Chesapeake.
The site sign, E & S plans and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The site was partially snow covered,but appeared to be well vegetated. The well pad was not reduced in size, but PCSM was addressed with the installation of an infiltration basin. The plans call for one rock spillway to be installed on the basin, but the Department observed two rock spillways installed. The Department recommends updating the plans to reflect the actual site conditions. Two wells were in production during the inspection. The wells were tagged and no bubbling was observed in the well cellars. The well cellars were filled with stormwater. The Department recommends removing the stormwater from the well cellars and properly disposing of the material at a perm |
