2656358 | Primary Facility | 2017-10-25 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On October 25, 2017, the Department conducted a routine inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Stalford Location in Wyalusing Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins represented the Department. Nobody was present for Chesapeake.
The inspection was in response to Chesapeake's submission of a two year restoration extension request for the Stalford Location. Staff engineers questioned if storm water was being directed to infiltration area #2. After observing the area it was determined that an earthen berm directs stormwater to infiltration area #2. Infiltration berm #1 was observed to be installed as per the approved ESCGP-2. One well was in production during the inspection. The well was labeled and no bubbling was observed in the well cellar. One double walled production tank and a GPU were observed on site. Puddles on the pad were low in specific conductivity. No staining was observed on the well pad surface. No violations were observed during this inspection. |
2729132 | Primary Facility | 2018-05-11 | Administrative/File Review | No Violations Noted | The eSubmission Post Drilling Site Restoration Report was submitted to the DEP on 5/11/2018. Based on inspection report 2426118 and 2655519 the Post Drilling Restoration report was accepted on 5/11/2018. |
2809507 | Primary Facility | 2018-12-03 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Arrived onsite for a routine inspection at 12:46; the weather was ~45°F and breezy.
There was 1 properly tagged Marcellus well staged for production. There was also 1 GPU, 1 sand separator, and one fiberglass produced water tank. Two infiltration areas were constructed and appeared to be functioning as designed. The containment berm remained at is original size but sections of the gravel pad were restored to meadow. Overall, the site was greater than 70% vegetative cover. No E&S issues were observed at the time of inspection. No violations noted. |
